At Peñasquitos Pet Clinic, we recommend this vaccine be given until at least 3 years of age to all cats. If the cat is to stay indoors with ZERO chance of exposure to other cats, then discontinuing this vaccine is an option for clients.
Rabies Vaccine
Given once and then repeated annually.
Though exposure is rare and unlikely in indoor cats, due to liability issues and ever changing County Law regarding rabies vaccine, we recommend it always be continued annually for safety and liability coverage.
